Brenna Egan for Closet visit in the most amazing dress I have ever seen. She is devine & one thing that stood out to me in her interview were the words 'don't buy anything that doesn't speak to your soul'. Brenna is so right & so is that outfit.

Ergh, how good is this lookbook - Nasty Gal x Minkpink. The American based online store is a huge fan of the home grown label & these pictures are just a testament to why. It is so effin hot! That denim jacket in photo 4 is amazing, get it on me now.

Splendour Bender

If that video isn't enough to get you all giddy with excitement for Splendour this year, then i'm not sure what is. I've never done Splendour, but now that the festival is back to its roots in Byron - I am already booking my flights. Bring on those wintery, musical filled days in chunky knits, wellies & beanies. I think the fact that the Last Dinosaurs track is the background music is a HUGE hint that they will be playing the festival, that just excites me more.

I'm reliving falls festival with the photo - thats me in the chunky One Teaspoon knit cardi - & yes, it is a freaking awesome knit. It is my favourtie festival photo from falls & just gets me in the mood for a Splendour Bender in July.

Sunny Sunday inspiration

I thought, since today is such a beautiful day in Adelaide & I've spent most of it sunning myself outside, I would dedicate this post to my favourite thing in the world - the ocean. The ocean is the one thing that has continuously inspired me. I love everything that goes with it - the surf, the calm waters, a stand-up paddle board, the refreshment I feel after a swim, the way to makes my hair, the sand & even the stormy winter high tides.

I could never, ever live anywhere that is to far from the water.

Drift into freedom.

A fresh start for Wave & A Feather as I move onto a very exciting project for the blog. The one thing I treasure most in my life is freedom, the ability to live how I want & by my own rules. Freedom is something every single one of you should endeavour to find, and when you do - hold onto it because it feels so damn good.

Always, when reading my blog, have the concept of being free in mind. It's how I live my life, it's who I am & it's what i do.
